trans love poem

i woke up wanting to wrap every trans person in a love poem. i woke up remembering that we ARE love poems, whispered, shouted, sung, and slipped into the heart pockets of each other. today i pray for gentleness, ease, rest. a chance to breathe, weep, rage, ground. i pray you feel held in the t4t love that weaves us. we are moonlight and stardust, sacred and beautiful, love poems and symphonies. i pray someone looks you in your eyes and says : you are brave and powerful. you are divine, just as you are. we need you here. (perhaps, even, say this to yourself.)
