Day 35 – witness

If you haven’t read the introduction to this practice on our webpage, we encourage you to first read more about it here.

Today’s word for writing is “witness.”

On pathways to collective flourishing, who bears witness to what?
Whose witness, by living their truth with integrity, has impacted you?
In what ways do you witness to truths that are hidden, risky, or unpopular?
What kinds of experiences/stories are silenced by power and dominance?
What are the common consequences, positive and negative, of bearing witness to that which power tries to suppress?
What kind of witness is needed most right now? (In the world, your community, your family)
What makes the ability to bear witness such a deep source of power?

Reflect. Meditate. Pay attention. Feel.
Then, write three lines of poetry.

May it be a prayer, a confession, an observation, a longing, a release, or a sensation – whatever is needing your tending today.

Collective contributions will remain open until tomorrow morning. Come back to view previous days contributions anytime here.
