The Vita Divina Project

Earlier this summer, we invited LGBTQIA people to respond creatively to the prompt: Queer and Trans Flesh: A Divine Encounter

The results were an incredibly rich array of creative, meaningful, and authentic expressions. Over the course of the next 30 weeks, we'll be revealing a new contribution every Wednesday morning over social media, through our email newsletter, and here on this page.

This project is intended to be a resource for spiritual nourishment through repetitive meditation. Based off of the Lectio Divina / Visio Divina tradition, queer and trans lives are treated as a sacred text, and participants - groups or individuals - are invited to linger in their offerings through a 15-20 meditative process.

If you'd like to order a print version of a select portion of the submissions, you can learn more about them here.

The links below each photo will lead you to an audio version and a self-guided version of this spiritual practice. Check back each Wednesday morning for a new issue.
