In the summer of 2020, we invited LGBTQIA people to respond creatively to the prompt: Queer and Trans Flesh: A Divine Encounter in our call for submissions. The results were an incredibly rich array of creative, meaningful, and authentic expressions.

This project is intended to be a resource for spiritual nourishment through repetitive meditation. Based off of the Lectio Divina / Visio Divina tradition, queer and trans lives are treated as a sacred text, and participants – groups or individuals – are invited to linger in their offerings through a 15-20 meditative process.
If you’d like to order a print version of a select portion of the submissions, you can learn more about them here.
The links beside each photo will lead you to an audio version and a self-guided version of this spiritual practice.
