Liturgy that Matters – Luke 18:1-8 – October 16, 2022
Themes: If we are moved by one another, how much more is God moved, affected, changed, impacted by us? Similarly, it’s important to unpack, especially in the histories of social change, the multitude of reasons and ways people and divinity is moved. The powerful are moved by activists and advocates, not out of compassion or repentance, but pressure and fear of losing their power. We remember this as we envision not only the world we desire but how it is we co-create it.
This week’s sermon commentaries are written by Damon Garcia with liturgy by Rev. Molly Bolton.
