Liturgy that Matters – March 14, 2021 – John 3:14-21

Themes: Drawing on the connections being made in this text to scenes of the exodus, this issue considers the theological implications of Jesus’ witness – and all forms of Christ enfleshing – as the healing remedy for the poisons that continue to take life today. Jesus on the cross – a blacklight that reveals the sins of our eras, calling for the abolishment of modern crosses and crucifixions. Through grace, we find our way into the movements to make it so.
