Liturgy that Matters – March 28, 2021 – Mark 11:1-11

Themes: It’s Palm Sunday and Jesus is sending the disciples on a mission that necessarily asks for quite a bit of trust. With little information and a good deal of risk, the disciples are sent to “borrow” a colt from a neighboring area. This issue imagines modern day parallels and wonders how people might respond. Would there be support for the movement? Would the cops be called on the ones who asked for the colt? Can the religious ones sending others to take these risks today be trusted?
