Liturgy that Matters – Numbers 11:24-30 – May 31, 2020

On this Pentecost Sunday, we go all the way back to Numbers where Moses is giving up the myth of hero-culture and seeking a more healthy way of interdependence. Like him, we can use periods of difficulty and exhaustion to re-evaluate the patterns we’re locked into – in our daily habits, our families, our communities, and as a church. With the Spirit’s help, and some serious letting go of control, we can open ourselves to new ways of being together in community that serve everyone better. This and more about rebirth, reimagining, and rethinking in the Spirit.
