Liturgy that Matters – October 13, 2019 – Jeremiah 29:1, 4-7

Themes: The ones in exile get the news that they won’t be here for a short while – but for generations. After all the losses they have faced, to re-invest in their collective life is no easy work. But even after so much death, God calls them to come alive again and reminds them of the capacities within to rebuild, to plant afresh, to learn from destructive cycles of the past and create something new together.
