Liturgy that Matters – October 27, 2019 – Luke 18:9-14
Themes: In this collective faith of ours, we carry each other. We work to mend the harms done by our neighbors, knowing others are working to mend the harm we have caused or contributed to. Most of us live complicated lives, entangled in complicated systems, needing both deep grace and mercy alongside our offering it to others. We are the tax collector and the Pharisee. This and more about sincerity, assuming the motivations of others, and collective grace.
